Eligibility Criteria for CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship 2024

• Students should be residents of Kerala.
• Students must belong to the Muslim, Latin, Converted Christian community.
• Only girls are eligible for the Scholarship.
• Candidate must have admission to Govt./ Aided Institution for Graduation or Higher courses.
• Students who got admission to Self-financing colleges from merit seats can also apply for the scholarship.
• The annual income of the family should not be more than 8 lakh per annum.
• Students should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.
• Students who are eligible for Hostel Stipend will not be able to get a scholarship.
• Hostellers must be staying in the recognized hostel by the Minority Welfare Department.

Number of Scholarship Under CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship

CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship has divided the number of seats as per the degree of the students. A total number of 7000 girls will be selected.  There will be 3000 girls from Degree Courses will be selected whereas 1000 girls will be selected from Pg Courses. 2000 Hostel Stiped seats are fixed and for Prof. Courses 1000 seats are fixed. So in this way, 7000 girls will be awarded under the CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship.

Steps For CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship Fresh Online Registration 2024

Amount of Scholarship 

The Minority Welfare Department provides finances to the girls for higher education. The amount is divided as per course. The selected girls from Degree Courses will get Rs.4000 whereas girls from PG courses will be awarded Rs. 5000 per year. Rs.6000 will be awarded to Prof. Courses per year and Hostel Stipend will be rewarded with Rs. 12000 per year.
